a word if I may... assaf, and all the rest of the artists, I dont believe that this is necessary, since aside from taking an enormous amount of hard-drive and mainenance work, everybody DOES have a channel to publish their work here. There are many producers in this forum, all you need to do is contact one of them and try to get your work heard. I can't vouch for each of them, but I'm sure that if you got something worth listening to and know how to comunicate, there's a good chance you get a fair shot.
a bit of inside information;), producers look for new music all the time, and you never know where you will find the next talent. so I believe that a smart producer should give anybody who contacts him/her a listen.
keep trying and send your music directly to the ppl you wish to work with. it sure beats publishing your music on a public site where everybody can get your trax for free and 'burn' them out, doesn't it?
good hunting :) |

The point I'm making was that I had a long period of learning, and that tips and pointers given by experienced artists could always help. And people can upload samples (2 minute clips at 96kps) and so on. There are many people (like me) who look at music as a hobby, not a job (since I'm swamped with work and studies, and I'm going to start studying full time in March), who wouldn't mind to upload some of their (my) tracks for everyone to burn and play :) |
