Why not have an official "hosted artists" section in the board/forum?
I know loads of people here would be dying to get some feedback on their works, send samples or even full tracks, DJ mixes and stuff. |

Well, i've seen a lot of ppl ask for feedback on their work, and the folks here in the blue room have been more than eager to help...
Maybe some ppl don't know where to put their works, but there is no shortage of free web space on the net.

yes, but what makes you think that anything will give the artists nearly as much exposure to the right people (people in this forum have a tendancy to know trance, and not just give random comments), and lets admit it, you don't always feel like pressing a link someone puts in the forum, but if there'll be a file+comment system here, everyone can keep his tracks online, improve them, and get tips from some of the bigger DJs and acts out there.
And I'm not limiting this to music, rather to art.
I'm just saying, this board can't do more than what posting it on any other space on the net can, it'll just do it better, faster, and be just infinately more effective, as well as give us a view of up and coming talents within our forum. |

Well Asaf, the way u put it, i have no choice but to agree with u...if done right it could be a great window for upcoming artists.

And how do you suggest to make the storage space for all of the art? And how will you keep shit out? Who decides what is shit and what is not?
I think that we should have a special board, but not an "official" hosted artists with their own storage space. |
