horrible cracking sound

I have just loaded the battery2 VST to put in a kick and found a horrible cracking noise, with every kick. Checked my soundcard nothing wrong there, so I changed my speakers nothing wrong with them playing music fine. Any ideas

check your kick wav (fade out the and of the kick) |

it could be clipping, it could be because u have cpu overload, and it could be the wav. Does battery have the same problem with every wav? |
