its a bit oldie but never been reviewed here, so i take it up with my hands to write about last (??) Mark Allen's full length album. on Plusquam recordings, good place to finish at.
after more than 10 years of Djing (this guy DJing, not dj) and Music creation Mark did it to his own solo project Hopefiend, thats is reach more basics kind of dance music - Acid House, old good crunchy sound, with 2003 standarts in.

.9. Out Of Know - Ware
whole album have great dancefloor functionality factor, range of bpm (132-138) and very Dj friendly structures (8 of 9 trax starts with kick on first frame) make this one a Must at any Dj case. Music mostly crunchy and funky, full of rythmic percussions and different techno grooves with alot of crazy synths on top of all.
personal highlights - 1, 3 !!, 5 !!, 9.

Indeed a very nice, psychedelic and extremely funky album.
My personal favs. are track 1, 5 and 6.
Oooh... And this album also contain one of the funniest samples ever - check out track 7, "Crack Down"

i like this one a lot. only criticism is that it is probably more a dj tool than for home listening.. but it is excellent music (well, apart from track 8 that imo really sucks) and i have used several of these in dj sets to great effect
shame he has semi retired but at least he left us this before he went...
