It will be available from all the normal routes such as Psy Shop, Fairfield, Saiko Sounds, Amazon, etc. It will also be sold on the Fluid Audio web site (under construction), some of the artist web sites that are involved in the project and the charity's web site.
Digital format will be available on ITunes, emusic, Rhapsody, Amozonmp3, Napster, MSN Music, Music match, Musicnow, 7digital and a host of other smaller music genre specific outlets.
Not long to go now. Will be pressing cd's in the next few weeks and then we are ready to roll. There maybe one other artist contributing to the album that we are very excited about. Watch this space!
Also forget to mention that the charity we are working with is no longer going to be Barnardo's due to reasons I would rather not mention. Instead we are now going to be donating to a wonderful charity called Toy Box. They do amazing work with children in South America. You can find out more about the awesome work they do here:

Yes my friend...
50% of all sales (CD and Digital) will be donated to the charity 
A huge thanks goes out to the artists involved in this project
* An estimated 40 million children live on the streets of Latin America's densely populated cities (Unicef).
* These street children include: children living on the street with no home at all, children spending most of their time on the streets, without opportunities for education and care; and child workers who spend most of their time working on the street e.g. shoe-shining in Bolivia or selling tortillas in Guatemala.
* Toybox seeks to help all these street children but especially those at highest risk and without any home at all.
* Working with street children can be very costly work as these children usually need a long period of rehabilitation. It can take many months or years to firstly build up their trust, as they have normally endured only pain and abuse from adults. So it is a longterm work of commitment and rarely a quick fix that they need to help them release their potential.
* Observers from our partner in Guatemala say that street children there have a life expectancy of around four years on the street.
* In addition to street children, there are thousand more children living at very high risk. Toybox helps both.
* According to Unicef, some 75,000 severely malnourished children have been identified in Guatemala in 2005, a consequence of three simultaneous emergencies: chronic poverty, drought and the coffee crisis. Some 67 per cent of indigenous children suffer from chronic malnutrition.
* Unicef also reported in 2004 that in Guatemala in the first 10 months of 2002, gangs or security forces killed 408 children and youths, but most street children were killed by drive by shootings.

Hopefully the sales will be very good !
and the donation will be very big ! as big as possible anyway...
and certainly if you will make enough money to pay the artists it will be great as well !

Quick Update:
Release date has been put back as more artists have got involved in the project.
Plus it will now be a 16 page digipak so we are working on making sure packaging and artwork is to the highest standards.
New release date will be 02/04/09 with the option to buy exclusively from the Fluid Audio store 2 weeks in advance of the official release date.
We apologise for the delay. |

You can listen/download short clips of 11 of the 13 tracks from the album at the site.
More info will be added to the web site over the next few days and the store will be up and running in the next two weeks with pre orders available very soon.

We are very excited about the release and yet at the same time extremely nervous as its also our first release.
