Anyone know what happened to Hoots Records? They issued the excellent balaeric-y Electronic Summer in Corsica vol 1-3 a few years ago but then seemed to disappear... |

I don't know. Never heard of them. The comps look interesting tho - I would probably like their sound. I'll check them out.
I do go through stages whereI really like that sort of stuff. It isn't as edgy as most other chill and downbeat that I like, but it is still oh so nice to listen to on a summer afternoon!
Maybe Hoots Records is hanging out on some tropical beach with Zulu Lounge Records...

If you like the Zulu Lounge stuff - you'll probably like the Hoots stuff... as you said - great summer afternoon tunes...
