Man, u have a lot work in front of you, start by listening to other tracks, listen to kick and bass first and build from there,
See youtube videos and stuff about bass and fequencies and stuff like that, right now its all mashed up i cannot understand what u are trying to do because sounds are on the wrong places.
But don't give up, take your time, its a long process

I actually liked that track you posted! It's not really psytrance but it has some nice ideas in it! I say improve your mixing skills, you need to train your ears a lot. When you learn how to make your tracks sound good everything will be easier. It takes time, work, and more time. Don't give up!           Free album out now:

When someone teaches someone something, you don't say, hey man you suck at tying shoe laces, walk away and expect them to tie a better shoe lace. Teachers list through the steps of how to tie.

The first question was for a clear definition of genre. I want to know what shoe laces are? Get it?

I don't hate you ... I don't really hate anything ... I'm just failing to see these comments as contructive and don't want to waste both out time.

I put up my worst track I made when drunk from 6 or 7 years ago to see what type of reviews you give to people you don't already know.

I'd review some others artists stuff here but I don't want to give out bad advice

Here's sonething alittle closer to now

Thank You! How to train ears? Is there a math to it? I failed out of school and never took science or math greater than pre-algrabra

I kind of remember something about what 4/4 means as to beat pattern from when I played Trumpet in 4th grade

Thank You everyone for You patience with me. PLUR

I've read afew statements from artists about trigger sampling and automated tasks

I would like to know more about this

Much closer and Thank You for the Encouraging words

Where are the write places?

Could someone provide a link to a good video about frequency

What software would be better to use than acid. I with I could afford ProTools or Reason

I have a basic frequency generator that makes binaural waveforms

I'm not being an ass dude ... forget you people ... I'll go some where else ... Hope You enjoy pushing people away by making useless comments to people who want to learn

mate, if youre feeling you are the only one who is
right, maybe you are the problem.

you wanted some REAL HONEST comments, but you
cant take them. that way youŽll never improve.

you came here, posted loose words in the
wrong section and asked "...but please do
just tell me I suck..." and now you cant
take it. let me tell you with my 20$ speakers
you suck. the track is a big inconsistend
loop muddle, this also applies on your mixing skills.

you want to improve? then start reading:

even if you hate us now, you wont find better
knowledgement for free anywhere.

cheers

Maybe I should have said "Educational" instead of "Honest"

This probably would have yield different types of feedback

ThankYou for the Link ... I have quite abit of reading to do.

For Your DAW, I suggest reaper. Very similar to something like cubase or logic, and they don't enforce the licence, so you only have to pay when you are able to.

By 'trainning your ears' I mean you need to practise your mixing skills a lot. To know when theres too much lows, highs, not enough stereo image, the right use of effects, but more importantly knowing if some instrument is too loud or too quiet. Getting a decent pair of headphones or monitors is only the start           Free album out now:

Would You consider this psytrance or ambient

I think I know psytrance as a certain repeative drum beat with a double kick at beat 16

I think the song in this video is psychedelic and kind of trancey but is it psytrance without the kick?           "The end IS the beginning as that PHAT lady sings" DreamStream By Timmy Dean Firman

When you do a snare build how many beats before you break? do you use fibinacci or something like that ... meaning ... if the cresendo is 32 beats do you double time the snare at 16 then again at 8 and so on?           "The end IS the beginning as that PHAT lady sings" DreamStream By Timmy Dean Firman

I just started looking the manual. This should help alot considering when I open the software and look at the options in the menus ... I don't even know what 9/10 of the words mean as applies to Music.

I good glossary would do nOObs like me some good.

Example: I mail things with an "Envelope"
Not sure how fit a "Pan" in one though

Yeah, you definitely always have to stick to the Fibonacci sequence for snare builds, good one noticing that. Make sure your kicks are easily divisible by pi as well.
