even if my production values suck ... but please do just tell me I suck ... tell me how so I can improve ... PLUR

One thing that would help me was a definition of music styles. No one I've met knows and I can't find something clear on the web so far.

I did my best to guess based off of what acidplant told me.

Google search Timmy Dean Firman for my Google+ page

ThankYou ... PLUR

it sucks your music is not on soundcloud, now nobody will react and its in the wrong section here, orientate yourself a bit on this forum if you like to know what we think of your tunes.           http://soundcloud.com/vipal

quote sticky from this board

Welcome everyone to the new section, Production & Music Making.

In this section you can post anything related to music creation in general, if you cannot find another fitting section, this should be the place. Tutorials and similar topics should also be added here.

We will continuously during this transition be moving topics to their new homes. Please excuse us if any mishappenings should occur.

And if there is anything you would like to add in this sections "Important and most popular topics" do not hesitate to pm me or Trip-

We hope you will find this reconstruction useful and lets hope for the best!

Cheers

reads like the right place to me for an honest critical review of production values ... Admin move if you feel the need

I think it's over produced .... I use ACIDpro4f for software

Groovy2op16bit-1 ... nice track ... my songs don't have simular beat progressions so I'll say my genre is not Trance. I'll take some time to llisten to more tracks from isra on soundcloud and produce some trax that are more like what I hear.

What bpms do most of you work with? Is it different for different styles of Trance?

I'll add more songs to soundcloud ...

Thankyou for clueing me into it.

The discription says: "music creation.." but it's referering to the technical stuff, not the showcast stuff, for that, you post in the Workshop section.

Thankyou ... so it seems poeple here would rather have me abondon this post and post it in workshop or does ADMIN move when has a chance?

I'm asking for technical review not showcase ... showcase is "Hey Look At ME"
I'm not saying that

I'm asking about Technical review so I can have better prodution values

Sorry if I'm confused

Technical review also goes to the workshop section, anything related to your music goes there, and yes, an admin will probably move this.

P.S. Soundcloud helps to get viewings, easy to play, and easy to talk about while you listen..

honestly....it sounds like a loop of a bunch of loops, which would make sense since you are using acid.

Man we are trying to help just chill out. you will get help here just like everyone else if you stick around.

advice:

produce tons of tracks

watch some videos on youtube to learn techniques about your DAW and audio production. i have learned tons of stuff this way and it is nice because you learn new things about the DAW too, cuz different people use features in different ways.

listen to tons of music. then tons more. then more. because listening always helps. analyze peoples stuff like crazy.

read some books on audio production and on mixing. there is a good thread on this on this forum recently, but i have some links too:

http://www.amazon.ca/Mixing-Audio-Concepts-Practices-Tools/dp/0240520688

http://www.amazon.ca/Composition-Computer-Musicians-Michael-Hewitt/dp/1598638610

then use the search function on this forum to read old posts. i recommend searching the names of pro dudes who are on here cuz they have killer advice and know what they are talking about, but also most everyone has some good stuff to say, regardless of experience level.

and be persistent.           --

mate, if youre feeling you are the only one who is
right, maybe you are the problem.

you wanted some REAL HONEST comments, but you
cant take them. that way youŽll never improve.

you came here, posted loose words in the
wrong section and asked "...but please do
just tell me I suck..." and now you cant
take it. let me tell you with my 20$ speakers
you suck. the track is a big inconsistend
loop muddle, this also applies on your mixing skills.

you want to improve? then start reading:
http://forum.isratrance.com/sticky-most-popular-and-useful-topics/

even if you hate us now, you wont find better
knowledgement for free anywhere.

cheers
