aiaiai.. I've read some of this stuff, but there's no way I'm going through all 24 pages. What a sad thread, some people has really shown their true face here.. I'm sure some of this argumentation has been used before, but let me point out a few things..
I've been reading quite a few threds here on Isra, parising how we psytrancers are a different kind of people. You know, threads saying how annoying it is to be treated and judged in this or that manner based on appearences, taste in music, choice of drug used for leisure etc etc. Now this thread comes along, dealing with the way people live their lives sexually, the way I see it - a minor detail in the broad spectrum of what creates a persons identity and personality. Now hatred for this kind of thing is complete and utter madness if you ask me!
Ott is actually right here. When we hear that people are judged based on minor details such as the coulor of skin, nationality or political beliefs - most of us are outraged, but with sexuality it's all of a sudden a whole different ballgame?
You know, A human being is more than sex. Now, have a nice day

Well well well ... Nice to see that some people are showing their true selfs here.
I'm not gonna write a whole lot here since most of my thoughts have already been written, by the likes of OTT and others. But one thought came into my mind when people said they didn't like gays because they had unnatural sex and it didn't result in babies... What about mastrubation and oral sex? That's not very reproductive now is it?

If I could choose, I would never choose to be gay, because it is definitely not the easy way to go. Being "normal" would be much more comfortable way of living. You can be fine with what you are one time in your life, but still, it is not the same, it is more difficult.
Believe me, most of the gays are born gays. I see many people here talking about things, they have no clue about, they dont know what is it "to be gay" and saying things like "it is much more easier to be gay, because you dont have to get drunk at the bar to pick up some hot blonde". Man, I envy you that you can try to get to know a girl wherever you are... street, beach, bus station, city office, department store, restaurant... I cant. I cant come to a man asking for help and then suggest to go for a coffee because I find him sexy as you can do with a woman and see if it works or not. You are not in a big danger (just maybe her boyfriend is around :)). If I do that, I could be even beaten hard for that. I rather have to go to some stupid gay clubs, some weird gay sex places or internet (thx for it) to meet a gay guy.
I dont know why I am gay, I dont know why I am so attracted to males, it is just the way it is and it's always been like this. I cant change it even I would like to. I was also thinking about the same thing one time, that I am so scared of picking up a girl that I "choosed" to be gay.
But when I remember my childhood I was always attracted to guys, I've always had male heros, I've found them more sympatic and their bodies nicer (age 9-12) When I started to be sexually active (I mean just masturbating at the age of 12-15) there's been a male in my mind while doing it and I havent been considering it strange or unnatural, whatever. I was thinking it is completely normal and had no problem with it.
I realized it later when the boys around started to meet girls, discussing it, reading porn magazines etc. Sudenly I've started to feel very strange, I didnt have a girlfriend, I didnt find girls tits sexy, I didnt want to fuck them. Even there were some girls going after me I didnt realized it, didnt take chance to have sex with them when their parents were away from the flat and the girls invited me to visit them ha ha ha...
I was very stressed from all of this, I didnt know any other gays, I was hiding it because it was BAAAAD, no information about it, I was trying to satisfy the expections from the family and friends but it was not working.....it was not there...the feeling about girls. Being gay, you see girls as friends as hetero guys sees their male friends. You can enjoy being together, doing everything together, you just dont want to lick her pussy, because it is not for you, you dont even think about it.
I am almost 30 now, so back then, there was no internet or mobile communication technologies. It is not like today, when every 15yo kid asking the same questions about his sexuality visits some internet site, gets all the information, visits some gay chat room and meets a guy to get the first sexual experiences very easy. Todays world is so much different.
Right now, I am living in quite long relationship, I dont like to see two men kissing WILD in public, I dont like gay clubs much, because it is so gay there, I dont like gay music, I am not after visiting every gay demonstration around, I dont need to show the world "Look, I am gay and I am the king of the world".
I just want to live the way I want, I dont want to hear/read such stupid arguments like "gays are not born", "choose to be gay", "they want to turn our children to be gay" "to be gay is not natural" bla bla bla bla. Maybe it is not "normal", I can deal with not being "normal" (who is? :), but for me it IS definitely "natural".
I would like to "merry" one day with a guy, I want to have children. IMO the biggest danger for the children living with two fathers/mothers is the reaction of the society around them. Not in having two fathers/mothers who love them.
Remember, people are different, so are gays. For sure there are gays who are very extrovert and they use it to get the attention, so I can understand Ron's posts for example even I am not happy to read it.
There are many many many gays that are not going this extrovert way, you dont know them, you dont even know they are gays, they have no interest to tell you, show everybody. Nor do I. I am not hiding it as a top secret, all the family and friends know that and I can easy tell it if there is a need for it or someone asks. But I am not meeting people with "Hi, I am XXXXXX and I am gay".
if you dont like gays, just please turn away and think whatever you want, but you have to live with us... there is no other way... as we have to live with all the negative things, discrimination, stupid attitudes, lame arguments around us... and thats the main problem, because all our life we feel a bit like we are not welcome here and we have to deal with it. For some of us it is easy thing, for others it is not. And thats much worse than some guy who touched your butt once in your life and asked if you want to go out with him.
...and if you still believe in 4%, forget it... it is much more... we are everywhere :))
PS: and yeaaah, I tried that once with a girl... not bad, but really not my cup of tea ;)) |
