You should set yourself and speakers up in a perfect triangle, with the speakers and yourself being the 3 points. If you have to have your speakers further apart then you need to sit back further from them as well. Try and make yourself as far from them as they are from each other.

thx, but i alrdy know that.
i wanted to know how important this 60° at each corner are, and/or if i can bend the "perfect triangle" a little bit, and how it effects the sound.

sure, i do my best for the perfect triangle, but i also have to live in this room... and opening the triangle also means, i´ve to sit back more in the room.
i also only have 3m from left to right (room is 3m*4,5m), so if i open it to much, the speakers would be to close on the wall. (left and back)

my second question was, how much space the "soundwave" needs from the speaker to the screen without getting disturbed by it. i know the screen shouldnt stand between the speaker and me. but what pos. is ok?
is it ok, if i see the whole speeker at my mixing position, or do i have to see 20 cm space between the monitor and the speaker? hope now you can understand my problem^^

greetings^^
