I created this bass from a Voice recording.
The voice was recorded with a Logitech USB Mic, on Live 8.
Insert Plugins: Orange Vocoder (Narrator II preset), EQ Eight, Bionic Delay (Ping Pong 1/8)
It was bounced. Then cutted and normalized in Soundforge.
Then I reloaded it into Live's Sampler, changed the root key, enabled the filter (M12dB), played with freq and resonance. And adjusted the release.
Insert Plugins: Blue Tubes Analog TrackBox (El Bass guitar 1 preset), Live's Auto Filter (High Pass)

It has a background metallic noise! Maybe from the vocoder.
Needs proper EQ...
But in general, what do you think about it?
I'm also trying to create percussion sounds, snares and stuff, in beatbox style but with plugin processing.
I'm planning to make vocal pads and swooshes, with pitch bend and timestrecthing, etc.

An interesting idea but,

Insert Plugins: Orange Vocoder

Dont that defeat the object?
The sound now comes from a vocoder and not a vocal.
