Hello everyone..
Time and time I read on this forum that the psychedelic scene is dead...the vibes have changed and all that bull crap. I wonder how many of them have actually done something for the scene....what have they learnt from it? For me personally....psychedelic music has changed the way Iam receptive about music (be it any genre) and appreciate it. Initially I only used to listen to music....now i feel it. Its like breaking down the song into its layers and listening to each one of them...carefully.....contemplating its complexities and how each layer merges with the other to give what you call in ur(our) lingo "ENERGY". Just abosrbing it all and living up the "EXPERIENCE".
Its about time I gotto give something back to the music I LOVE. So here it goes....
I have a small setup at the moment which I am planning to expand as and when the resources are available. My setup includes:
I mac dual core-4GB RAM 20 inch.
Digi Design Mbox Mini sound card.
Samson 8A Monitors.
AKG. EV mics
Origional copies of softwares namely ProTools, Logic 8 studio, Reason 4, Garageband.
Also planning on buying a midi keyboard this month (i am planning on Maudio Axiom 49 or 61) Any recommendations welcome.
AND....I have a place in Delhi which I want to convert into a small home studio. I need some help with the acoustics of the place. I dont have big bucks to spend on the acoustics for the moment but I need to isolate the Control room from the noise outside and inside. People out there who have done something on the same level who would like to share some views or anybody who would like to connect regarding the same are most welcome. Lets see how this will shape up... |
