ok,i want to provide network from my pc to another pc in my house.in a different room.how can i do this ?i know i can buy a wireless modem/router,but i was wondering about the cheap way(with just a cable.my modem is the ISP'S (a cheap one with only one output).any tips??

ICS is the thing you are looking for..
All you need is a cross cable and 3 nic's alltogether

Better buy a router though it works just fine..
