I'm finding that most recent releases in psy-trance, although they can be very well be enjoyed at home, are aimed at the dancefloor and have a heavy emphasis on regular percussions and a steady and powerfull bassline. Actually, I only know of a very few albums which deviate from this and are fit to be called home listening albums, I'm thinking of IM's "Classical Mushroom", "BP Empire", Scorb's "Scorb", Dark Soho's "Combustion", Mindelight's "Light the Mind", Jaia's "Fiction", Talpa's "The art of Being Non", Younger Brother's "Flock of Bleeps" and Nystagmus's "The Immaculate Perception". What other albums focus on musicality and original, not necessarily dancefloor-friendly, structures and elements in the trance genre? The kind of albums you'd make your friends listen to show them how complex and varied trance can be.

I listen to psytrance at home just to watch out new good stuff and if I have to play dj set, but if the purpouse is to listen to music, I prefer other style of music 
One exception I really dig Nystagmus Immaculate Perception as homelistening  |
