Looks like Hol Baumann has a new EP out. Yet another release just before christmas. What a busy time of year! Two original tracks and two remixes...

Family Garden returns back with a new member onboard coming from France, with a deeply atmospheric sound full of power in ambient high states HOL BAUMANN.
Hol is debuting on Family Garden by an EP entitled "Scala" which has two original ambient/downtempo tracks, along with two ace remixes of "Ephemere" coming from GMK aka Gare Mat K and Arpatle.
Whole of the package is subtle and elegant, defined between ambient/lounge sounds, and spiritual mental atmospheres.

At the moment it is a beatport exclusive, so US$14 for the 4 tracks in WAV format. {ouch!).
that said, i am considering buying it so i've got it for the summer season. would be good to play the 2 original tracks at gigs.
the samples of the remixes didn't really do it for me, unfortunately. but maybe they are growers.

I would never spend that much money for a download. It's crazy to demand $14 for four tracks imo!

that truly is a rip off, if nobody bought stuff at all at this price then maybe they'd drop their prices. Hold off untill the price drops ! |

Yep. Fsck Bandcamp and their prices. All we can do is vote with our wallets and hope that Mr. Baumann eventually sees this and the Bandcamp threads. |
