I didn't even know this had been released, need to order now!
'Human' has to be my favorite track EVER! blast it loud on a good sound system and your in for a trip to heaven & back!!
I'm guessing the rest of the CD lives up to it too
Thanks Hol, keep it up...

Have been listening to this for weeks now. Cant put to words the amount of emotion in this. Very melancolic at times, very soothing/relaxing at others. High quality musiq. I dont like too many samples in me musiq myself but this album as a whole just fits together as a jigsaw with every sound. Only downside is some tracks appear already on previous compilations so not completely fresh tracklist but with this amount of goodness, dont need to make a fuss I thinks.

Human is an amazing track...

It's funny. My first couple of listens were with expectations based on his edgier takes on some of these songs done for the Fahrenheit Project comps. To be honest, I was really disappointed. Especially since a few of the songs were remakes of the stuff I had on those comps.
Flash forward a month. I drop the album in on a whim and without expectations. Fall head over heels in love with it and it winds up in heavy rotation (even playing as I type this). It just seems such a great balance of soft organic sounds and edgy electronic noises. I'd even rate this album up there with some of my all time favorites such as FSoL's "ISDN". ISDN an example that I've been in love with and can still listen to on repeat, even after owning it for 14 years. I'd actually rate "Human" that highly. Obviously, time will tell if "Human" hold up as well for me over the next 14 years, but it's off to a hell of a start.
It just goes to show how allowing your expectations to cloud your perceptions can cause you to miss out on some stuff you'd otherwise greatly enjoy. |

excellent production !
wonderful sound !
a real treat !
great artwork !
all the right ingredients of a great album.
another strong release from Ultimae !
and it's not that common nowadays for a label
to release a strong, unique album one after the other like they do.
and Ultimae just keeps on doing it...
and i hope they always will !
and after the Human album the Core was released,so that is really nice and it shows
the diversity of Ultimae, and most of Ultimae previously released albums are wonderful as well !
my two favorite record label in the electronic music turf are twisted records and Ultimae.
although there are a few more good labels out there like CHILLCODE and INTERCHILL for example, i still think that twisted and Ultimae are the most productive ones.
of course, i am in no way declaring facts here, i'm expressing my opinion only !
cause it's all a matter of taste !
cheers !

hellloooo
i need to put my comments on this album now, just discovered this art yesterday..heard the album, been hearing it the whole day and cannot get enough of it..its this breathtaking journey which totally put my senses into a very intriguing zone, a emotional journey in some tracks..and a sense of happiness in others, beautifully composed i like the break beat effects and the melancholy running parallel with the vocals.
The vocals fit in so nicely in the tracks..the radio bombay track is really really beautiful i cannot express what i feel here in words..its the form of magic this album has which has totally got me...this composer is really talented i must say he has added some indian sounds in it like sitar and punjabi vocals and the 1st half of this seems like an astral journey through my own country India with every tracks except for the german vocals in the track 'breathe'
This has to be one of the best albums of 2008 no doubt.
