I wonder if it will be as successful as the Paul Oakenfold the same people have organized in the Yellow (without Paul Oakenfold)- You've probably heard about it. I'll be really careful with this party.

Im not going to this hoga party. beside the fact that the situation in israel frightens me, when i talked to oren crystal (AP's Manager), i couldnt help but notice how smug and arrogant he was, both about himself and AP. im really sorry, but i won't go to a party where such air heads are going to perform. any other suggestions?

Jason,
Oren Kirstal is not AP manager but the manager and the main man behind Phonokol, one of the biggest independent record companies in Israel (doing much more than Trance).
He's a business man of course, but I found him a very professional and helpful man.

AP don't have a manager. They manage themselves.

The people organizing this festival have nothing to do with Phonokol, but with DJ Michael & 90.2FM- the elecronic illegal radio station in Haifa area.

Ok shahar, point well taken. while i talked to him he sounded so full of himself, yapping about how big AP are (btw, when i called phonokol, they gave me his cell and said he's their manager, maybe the secretery there was wrong), and how their record sales are off the hook... dunno..

in any case, lets drop Oren Crystal And AP, it's not related to the subject.. ever since the Ganei huga party was raided by police, it seems not so worth it to go there... comments?

Is there any point to live in the past? Ganey Juga was, and never will be again.
The same way I chose to skip Jethro Tull in Cesarea, I would skip this one - I'd rather remember it the beautiful way it happened than trying to revive something that belonged to a different time with a different atmosphere.

Let the past behind you and look into the eyes of the future, man.

I totaly agree with you auspexx (BTW, im still waiting for that Tekken tag match...).

but here's a point of pondering - won't it be great if we could re-live the past, make the great parties you once went to, re-occur? (a point to my downside - i have never been to raves cause im into trance only for so long, 2-3 months heads on)

i think, that having a good party, much like a good rock concert - it can be repeated and ppl can enjoy it once over. no?

yeah, it's great if we could re-live it. But we cant.

AND - I haven't forgotten U, I'm just giving you some more time to say your farewells from all your friends before I smash you...hehehe...

(Please, lets not move the Playstation thread back here....)

Not only i second Auspexx words, i'd like to say what i feel about those big commercials festive: As i see it, the movement is risking itself by overgrowth accompanied by ugly greedy ppl. And lack of good musical taste. And here in Israel it is more revolting cause there is no such thing as tradition, so i’m not calling ppl. To boycott the next 6th Boom festival or the 10th Voov experience, i’m calling all the d.j Micheles and such to stop the “mashara” of our tribal culture, and would like you ppl. To go back to where it all began- the woods;)

Yeah, wouldn't it be great? Ganei huga, AP, all that..., but as optimistic as i am, i doubt it.
Sure it's possible, but a party in ganei huga could never be underground enough not to be commercial enough, and if it's commercial enough then every 'manayek' and all of israels 'bilush' squad are gonna be there, - which means it' probably ain't gonna happen, because even if all this "AP & ganei huga" thing really has something, i still doubt that artists like "AP" who have to fear of every party getting ruined, and who know that every time that there's something underground it might be ruined, probably won't go and perform somewhere where they know that there's oh.. maybe a 100% chance of something getting screwed. SO people, forget about ganei huga, michmoret, etc.. because the freedom for big underground trance raves in israel is over as long as there ain't someone to fight the authorities for it, let's all hope that sometime soon it will come back.

PEACE & BOM!!
