when changing my bass into 1/16 triplet (aka 3/4 beat-- lets not start a discussion on if its truly 3/4 or 6/8....) do i also have to change the quantize of my hihats? i do those in audio and for some reason they sound "off" to me... any clues?           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Yes, they need to be offset as well, I think they need to be where the snare would normally be in a 4/4 track. It's been years since I did anything in 3/4 so I can't quite recall.

This is one of the reasons that you can't beatmatch 3/4 & 4/4 tracks even if the bass is cut, the hihats sound like they are trainwrecking, if memory serves.
