Hey Guys!
i need your help..i try to remove the low frequencys on this drumloop..but for any reason
i can not manage this..i already got 3 eq on the group channel,but it still doesn`t work..even when i highpass up to 7k or something..there is still alot going on below..please help or share your thought..

I use the Trackplug by Wavearts..Haven`t tried another one..i like it because of its streight brickwall filter..only got another sonalksis or psp eq..

the sonalksis one doesn`t work either..still very low fq there..does it really matter that much?

Well..yer..i think it sounds quite ok..just worry about if it could make problems while mastering or if i just could get a better result if this is fixed..hm

Ok..i agree..i will trust my ears..but,how comes? from technical side..anyone?there is nothing that special going on in this loop..just reverb..and some camel space fx..i just want to understand why i cannot remove this fq..?

ahh..ok..i found the problem..it is the sonalksis tbk3 compressor..wich is adding those frequencies..with every other comp it works fine..strange..but whatever..
thx anyway!

Some efx (especially reverb) will add lows frequencies to a sound. Compressor will only make those low freq more pronounced (because they have a lot of power and they will be the ones triggering the comp threshold.
Try placing the EQ cut after the reverb/camel sapce.
Also, check that your EQ cut does not have any high resonance in the cutoff point.
