So here is the debate:
paries in the US, when is the high season? in NYC it would appear to be winter time, since all of the large productions are indoors anyway, the weather is almost inviting you to warm up and dance... burn some winter calories and heat up before going back to the mundane gray nyc winter. on the other hand, nyc has many long term tourists and temporaries in the summer and therefore more people are available to come to an event... it is rather hot, and virtually no large organizations throw outdoor parties because of various issues not concerning this thread.

how is the scene in the west coast regarding seasons? also, what are your thoughts? when do find yourself going to more events?           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

For us the Summer is definitely the High Season. I mean we have parties year round, but during the summer is when all the outdoor events happen. I always look forward to the late spring and summer and to get out of the warehouses and onto some PRIVATE PROPERTY (that should be a key phase you might wanna start looking into) It of course gets quite warm out here during the summer months, but all that sunshine and camping tends to bring out more partiers... Not as many people are really into the indoor events... Not to mention a lot of us are keen on full weekend events, and I have yet to see an indoor event be a full weekender...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

SUMMER TIME!!!! winter is for hibernation and hopefully a few good underground parties, but for the west coast, trance parties out in the nature under the warm sun and the beautiful nite sky- its my favorite thing ever!! I think people put more energy into summer... thought I saw a lot of partying this last fall and winter in NY (inculding the 3 day trancegiving thing Zero is talking about.... how could I forget, I played for 12 hours over those three days / daze)
was a good party... but I also did notice that sure it was a 3 day party... but after a day and a half.... the numbers were pretty low.

I have more winter experience in NY, because all the summers before this last one, I was living 2 hours from the city and would come down for parties but since I was not living there its different, but from what I saw... summer seems to be more of a high season than winter.

It is time to go and start throwing an outdoor party every weekend in the New Jersey pine barrens.

Here in Florida it is defenitelly winter. Summer time is very rainy, humid, hot and the mosquitos will eat you alive Also most of the ppl leave FL. On the good side, it is the easiest time to get an indoor venue with a great sound system.
