I'm looking for good (44.1/16 mono/stereo) 80' electro samples or loops. Before I start a wild google search, I wonder, maybe you know a good site or a CD collection for this kind, except for the battery electro samples, which suck a lot IMO.
10x in advance

You might use the mighty Waldorf Attack VST.
It has some good electro presets. Reminds me Afrika Bambataa

Thanks for the links
I understand the Waldorf suffers from many bugs, and my current track in heavily loaded with channel and plugs, so I won't be using it this time, but thanks for the tip.

Yes Yes! TR-808! You can get a well emulated TR 808 with Rebirth.

I had the Korg ER-1 for a awhile. It can make some really neat little sounds. Real great for Electro. Only problem is if you listen real close you can hear a little click after the sounds as they play. I miss my little ER-1. It was fun to just sit around and play with but a friend of mine still has his and I can still work with it.

maybe also try steinbergs B-Box standalone drum machine program.
its got some use-able drum sounds in it, heaps of 'old school' sounding patches...

I checked out that click situation I had mentioned about the Korg ER1(I just acquired another one for only $8.00). It only happens in the begining of the sound during the attack stage. If you work with it you can minimize it somewhat.

Oh yes ,
more sospubs articles = more knowledge .
one of my favorite audio articles source .
btw , oldskool electro producers
almost didn't use samples.
20 yrs ago only the first digital sampler came out
the S1000 from Akai , it was about $2000 that time.
And other samplers like Fairlight or Synclavier was
much much more expansive .
U know the difference between real minimoog and
minimoog plugin or sample cd . . .
There is a reason why TR808 cost $1000 today ?
That's what i'm talkin' about .
EZ ,
Peace.
