Hidden tracks at the end of cds

I recently discovered a hidden track at the end of the Youth In Dub cd. It appears approx 5minutes after what would seem to be the last track ends. I've also found that Deep Dive Corp have one at the end of one of their cds. I was wondering if anyone else had some examples of this trend and if any one could shed some light as to why artists do this!!!! |

I have loads of CD's in many different genres which do this. It was really fashionably a few years ago. One of the most famous ones was 'Endless Nameless' which appeared about 20 minutes after the end of Nirvana's 'Nevermind' Unfortunately they're usually crap, half-finished leftovers from the album sessions.
