Sounds like you need inspiration, and that's a notoriously hard problem
When i (me, i don't know if this helps for other peepz) need inspiration it helps me to program drum- and percussionloops, to create weird sound effects, to program new synthsounds, making sweeps, grooves, and so on. After a while you build up a library of stuff and you can build tracks from that.
Melodies and grooves are hard though, i usually make those up while walking or riding my bicycle (and record them using a cheap-ass mp3-recorder), not when i'm sitting in front of my computer.

hey akuma, a quick tip
I think fruity loops really makes you "think" in terms of 16th notes. force yourseld to work on low resolutions in the piano role. leads dont have to be a bar length. pads should be a bars long. etc
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.

If you just want random inspiration... Randomly put notes all over like 2 bars in the piano roll.
So then you have something that sounds stupid and bad... But wait, is there anything about it that sounds good at all? If not, erase, and mash again.
Eventually something random will emerge that has at least something good about it so just work from there... delete notes that are shit, move them around, actually change the notes so they follow a scale. You'll be like, oh it would be cool if this pattern did this etc... and just take it from there.
I wish I could write leads that comes right out my head, but I can't usually, and this helps me get ideas.

I didn't really hear a lead part.
I think the bass had a neat sound though. |

you need 9 more for the rest of the track!
Keep going!!
Good Luck!!

you just made music for 6 month and what i hear reflects it. be patient and work hard, you're sound will improve. it takes many many years to come up with something really descent. Your english has nothing to do with that. |
