Hi hats and Kicks on Cubase

hmmm im having Troubles fixing out these two in my Traks .... Any help wud be killer.
another thing i hav vsampler for kicks but its not very efficeinet .... i hav kicks that my friends hav sent me ... but i didnt figure out a way to use those wavs in my traks ....
HI hats hav been a problem... wat vsts do u guys use fr that ? |

add as an audio track....but doesnt work if u wanna oput more than 1 kick in a bar

check out NI battery
i think is way better for drums than Kontakt..
also try with other samples, hi hats dont need that much tweaking in my opinion,, battery's filters should be more than enough..

Audio track also.
The only thing u need to do is to fix the quantize u want for the sample. For example: u want the kick every beat only? So u can use the "beat" option of the cursor(so u will be able to copy the sample beat per beat). Do u want a more than beat per beat, maybe offbeat sample like a hihat?? Use the "quantize" option and lock it as u wish(1/8,1/16,...).

its simple. Trance is 4/4 music, therefore for kicks, quantize to 1/4. Now move 3 more to the same bar next to each other. Done. |

set quantize in project window to 1/4, and select 'use quantize' where it says 'bar' .. i don't remember which option is that right now. zoom in accordingly, copy and paste your kicks, and glue them together afterwards for easier copying, and that's it. anyway, i would suggest any freeware drum sampler, then you can write your drum tracks in midi editor (piano roll) which is much more faster and practical, especially for rolls and drum stutters.

shit didnt get any of it .... well can any1 tell me how to fix my Kontakt .... ?? it makes a clipping sound when i play it as vst on my cubase ... but works fine as an application ....
Help ... confused:( |

The "beat/bar/use quantize" option box is avaiable on the top right of the window. There´re two more boxes, one for "grid/event", other for the quantize settings...
