Hey ppl i need some advice on nord lead 2x rack

Hey guys im about to order the nord lead 2 x rack for a killler price around (800euros)...
I just wanted some infos from ppl that are allready using the lead series....
I know that virus might be a lot better but as i said im getting it cause its on special price 
i want to use it for fast nighttime music...
i would apreciate any fast replys cause im with the credit card in hand and allready in turnkey.co.uk

What kind of info? Nord Leads sound good, though you'll want to slap some distortion/compression on it for sure.
That's a classic piece of gear though. I wish I'd bought a NL2 instead of the NL3. |

€ 800 special price? 2nd-hand they do normally around 400 and today i saw (just to late) a virus b for 200 (which is not such a common price).
so anyhow.. take a look around if your on a budget. |

i got a nord 2x a few month ago and im very satisfied. in order to get the most out of it youl have to sit down and explore it. i think the biggest benefit of hardware synth is that it improves your synthesis alot, i find myself tweaking sounds for hours and automating knobs that i didnt even touch before. i still find new sounds all the time and its very inspiring.

I paid 450€ for mine+ 30 € for a pcmcia card, coz' it's the older one, without the "X" ! So your price is ok, I think.

Hey peeps thanx for the sugestions..the rack is allready in my hand and ive been dying to connect it with logic all night yesterday...
only thing i didnt manage to do correct is somehow with logic so i can play the notes and get sound out from the sequencer...
i can play notes and hear it from the headphones...
now i need to fully connect it with logic express/Logicpro and im afraid i give up i cant do it by myself....
Please guys could you give me another helping hand 
Im leaving for holidays tomorrow and i would go nuts if i get to try it after 2 weeks from now

yea man midi in/out etc
also in logic enviroment i made some connections and i can see the notes played through nordlead(midi) but thats all...
i remembrer using virus we had to run Sysex signal...
for lead..the place ibought it from said that sysex isnot needed for lead....
