i got a m-audio midi usb interface, a radium 49 to be exact and i found this problem using reason2.5:
when i select a device through the sequencer (when the little midi icon appears to let you know you correctly selected the device) it happens that all the knobs and sliders have a default midi map that i cannot override. i mean the 8 sliders are defaulty assigned to different parameters of the synth, there are only 3 unbound knobs that i can freely map to any parameter i want.
but what with the other 5 knobs and 8 sliders?
when i asign a control with a default mapping to any parameter, reason learns the new parameter but keeps the defaulty in the bind, so 2 parameters move with one slider/knob.
yeah! it sucks, the worst thing is that this default map is really shitty, for ex.: when using a malstrom the first slider in midivalue 0 sets 'Filter B Env' switch off, and when the midivalue is 127 sets env switch on... this is crazy!
GRRRRRrrr.

i don't think that reason support midi interface well . as i read somewhere u can't even work with midi along it

try other sequencer

if same problem happen it's hardware or wrong connection.

try to find > solve problem alone

as i understand reason does work along with midi very well, but this is just frustating...
there isnt any connection problem
its a usb device, you have to be retarded to have a usb missconnected ;D
im talking about a software misconfiguration.
