hey folks Just wondering how anybody who has an Access Virus a set it up with Ableton 7 and 9 on win 7. I'm using an M-audio Fast track pro soundcard. I can't seem to get the midi from Ableton to trigger the Virus but I can with Cubase 4 le on the mac . No midi gets out of the soundcard.
done everything exactly like the manual but it wont work.
Mac > cubase > axiom 25 > virus midi in- to fast track pro midi out and otherway round works very fine
win7 > ableton live 7 and 9 > virus midi in- to fast track pro midi out and otherway round no way |

Did you configure midi ports in ableton preferences? I don't know how it's in 7 or 9 because i use 8, but i think it should be similar.
Go to preferences -> MIDI Sync
Then turn on the Fast Track Pro Midi Out in track section
