man! I got the same problem here!
Its like the nord has a will of its own or something!
some of the sounds are lock and some dont.
I know that theres some option that the nord shows the value of each parameter you touch (1-128), so maybe you can write it down and program the sound again in the user bank?           check out! www.soundclick.com/spasm

I think you have to trigger the sound you want to tweak first before you can tweak it, otherwise the nord doesn't know which sound you want to tweak...

i used to own a nord 1 and from memory theres like 5 or 10 sounds to each slot right.... well it needs to know which sound you want to tweak out of these so i think you just hit the key and then that sound is selected (maybe u have to hold down something else as well i can't remember, but i don't think so)

hopefully im on the right track here (or maybe i have totally misunderstood the question)

its already triggered by midi notes...
but when i turn any knob nothing happens... only to a few particular pacthes the ones after 99 P1, P2, P3, P4, etc..

I don't mean triggered by midi notes to hear the sounds, i mean that with those patches after 99 (p1-10) you have like multiple patches in one patch, so unlike a normal patch where you are dealing with one sound, you are dealing with 5 or 10 (i can't remember) so the nord needs to know which one of these sounds you want to edit... it does this from memory by editing the sound which is triggered by the keyboard last (i think thats all you need to do, maybe hold something down while you press the key) have a look in the manual if you have it....

actually i'm pretty sure you have to hold down something on the nord (like shift or something) and then press one of the keys that the sound is on that you are trying to edit & then that sound is selected for editing (although if you record into the sequencer these edits i don't know how the sequencer will know which one you want it to tweak)...

as i said find a manual & its all in there...

it would be easier to edit the sounds in one of the normal (0-40) user patches but from memory theres no way to get the sound from the percussion patches into a normal patch (i don't think you can sysex the percussion patches from memory)

guys... i hope your OS's are updated, because
the original OS's in Nord Leads had many bugs.

if not,
go to the clavia site, and upgrade your OSs!

boom.

i fixed it... its just that u need to press the black key in the keyboard... for instance F# and then u can tweak it

P.S. : what does upgrade OS do?

ahhh... the black keys... now i remember...

i knew it was just pressing a key or something, but i couldn't work out how it would tell the difference between you pressing a key to edit and the sequencer triggering notes....

problem solved ! ... so can the sequencer play back the tweaks on the right sounds ?
