Hi everyone cosmic travellers

I'm really newbie in music production, i'm using cubase5 and i'm starting to produce psycore/hi-tech dark.
I found a site that many peoples tags as a wonderfoul dark vst site.
The site is ''Darkware THE legacy'' (jack dark site) and there is a lot of really nice vst.
Here comes the probelm:
after downloading it, only a file .DLL and a file .DAT is exctracted, no set-up file.

so i cut and paste booth the files .DLL and .DAT in my VSTPLUGINS windows folder, where all the other vst are installed in but when i run cubase i can't see this new vsts.
I think my method is not correct, and maybe some1 can explain me what i've to do to see them or setup them correctly.

Thanks you

See you in the cosmo

Hey There the .dll file is actually the vst file so u have to copy that one and the dat file into the vst folder on your harddrive.

And then cubase should load them on start up.

So what you did is correct, but it's a bit strange that it didn't work. I have a vstplugins folder both in My Documents and in my actual Cubase folder. I'm not sure if that's just my setup, but maybe see if you have one in both places as well place them there. Otherwise maybe make a new folder for it in the vst folder?

Maybe someone else can help out?           www.soundcloud.com/vonoom | www.vonoom.bandcamp.com | www.facebook.com/vonoom | www.flikflakfamily.com

- check in Cubase what folder is set for your VST's to be sure its the right folder
- there should be an option to scan/rescan vsts's, maybe you need to run this first.

I had this Problem too sometimes...it could be the wrong .dll maybe. If you load a .dll for x64 and have x32, it will not work. Other way around will probably not work too.           My first track:
