hey guys!
i got deedrah sound bank for nord lead on my hard disk, how can i transfer it to my nord ? |

I got the exact same one..has some nice sounds I still keep with me...lol
First you might want to do a back up of your data by using the BULK DUMP
1. Connect a cable from MIDI out on the NL to MIDI In on the other device. (no extra cables!)
2. Setup the receiving device so that it accepts System Exclusive Data (that would be your sequencer)
Create a long midi part/event and press play on your sequencer then immediately:
Hold down the shift button and press "dump one" or "dump All" on the Nord Lead while still playing and wait while it dumps the programs on the midi part...there... the events should show on the blank midi part you created and save that midi file (Format 0) so that later you can come back to your old sounds... now...
To receive a Bulk Dump.. that would be that midi file from Deedrah, proceed as like this:
1. Connect a cable from MIDI Out on the transmitting device to MIDI in on the NOrd LEad
2. If you are about to receive a complete Bank, you need to scroll to a program number in the Bank (single Sound Bank or Performance Bank) you want to replace with the received bank. Starting from Prg 1 is not a bad idea...
3. Import the midi file to your sequencer make sure the MIDI ch and OUTput is set correctly to NL2 initiate the transimission (press play...easy huh) dude from the beginning of the midid file its 40 banks the rest will remain the same...even though it will go up to 99 ...P9 prg.
