Hi there, I live in Canberra, Australia. I am looking for advice on rigging decor installations at parties. I have been doing parties for a while now, but I really want to take it the next level with wire frames and giant poles sticking out of the ground with the stretch fabric (so late cant remember the name)
Here is an example, but I want to start on smaller scale, and get there.

The guy who conceputlised it is gone to England, I was just a grunt at the time (and still am)
The first image is the kinda stuff i want to do.
Do I need a rigging licence? I would think so
How can get experince doing this stuff outside of the scene?
I want to do properly, but start with a pole in the middle and wire frames comming down so I can spandex? on it.

Ps if any DJ/live Act, from any where is travelling in Australia and wants to play at one of my gigs, I am an Event Manager of a club and I hold Pschedelic Trance parties nearly every week, and am lucky enough to play to full dance floors through a very loud system every week (hehe)
