Help with Cubase playing multiple tracks in different zones on keyboard

Is this possible in cubase?

I can split my controller into different zones playing different channels, but cant get one vst to only receive from that channel so what happens is that all the notes play all the vsts simultaneously despite that the notes use different channels.
Manual isnt very forthcoming.

In the inspector for each MIDI track, set each track to send on a separate channel. Should be perfectly possible.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
