Help with choosing Pioneer CD turntable

Hi,
I'm thinking about buying one of the Pioneer CD turntables. As good as the CDJ-1000 looks, it's way too expensive. I think I've narrowed it down to two models: the CDJ-500-II and the CDJ-700S.
Can anyone give me the pros and cons of either one these? Aside from the obvious difference of price. :)
I just want to buy a set to mess around in my bedroom during my spare time and, with any luck, come up with interesting mixes.

I would suggest the CDJ700's...
They are really good... As my Friend has them and I used them for some gigs.. Booms |

attention!
the 500 II - suck! they r huge in size, r heavy, and the loading system is annoying..(from above..)
the 700 r small like the 500 (not the 500 II) but more accurate. has same loading system though. the better loading system is like in the 100s - from the side. you have it also in the 1000 which r great - they r really sth. to play with - have 4 loops and a vinyl option - kleevland rocks!!

i think it's wrong to call CDJ "a turntable"
CDJ is a CDJ. (for CD)
turntable is a turntable.(for vynil records)
and if we talk about CDJs ... go for 700
bom.

i meesed around a bit with the cdj-1000 in a store once and they are really pure satisfaction,but way to expansive for satlanim like us!
if it is youre first time with mixing expiriance believe me the cdj-100 will do it all to you,front top loader,samll,3effects......and they look nice!
