i dont have lot of knowledge about soundcards, and i wonna get a good soundcard between 100-150 bucks for music creation.

what about EMU 0404 ?
read some conflicting reviews about it...some say it's the best value for money you can get your hands on...low latency, internal DSP effects, etc...
last time I checked it was round $100 on eBay 
perhaps someone here with abit of personal experience with it could share more input...

thanks all, i red more about the audiophile 2496 i think its a good card to start with, i have some connections with the supplier of this card and i think ill get a rebate
