If you look at the wav properties one is 16bit and the other is 32 bit, this may be ur problem.

Try to make both platforms the same bit rate, this may solve the issue.

Nope,
Not the problem!

Also I can tell, that inside the Pool I can listen to the audio file just fine!

Only when I drag it into a track it changes...           https://soundcloud.com/avivtech

it has nothing to do with sample rate and format. the sample you are using has ACID metadata saved in it, and it says to Cubase that the sample isn't one-shot but a loop, 1 bar long. Cubase automatically stretches the sample to 1 bar. Just make it a bit shorter and it will sound okay.

Making the sample bit shorter is not the right way to do it, imo.

Open the sample window(double click at the sample) and check if the "Musical Mode" is activated. If so, just make it off, so Cubase will play it as a one shot sample.

edit: Musical Mode button is at top right of Sample Window.          LOADING...
