With all the respect 99% of the artists involved in this scene indeed should not care about having their music registered since its bad music anyway (both in terms of production quality and in terms of ideas and inspiration) and will never have any commercial impact either in this scene of out of it.

So the ones that really bother with having their labels and music registered are the people that know that they are producing/releasing something that worths attention and that might break the barriers and make it outside the psy scene and get some airplay in the radio or get licensed for a movie soundtrack for example.

Thats why people like Juno Reactor and Hallucinogen have their music registered unlike the majority of wannabee artists that dont expect their music to have any impact at all either in this scene or out of it but also having their music registered would make it even more difficult for them to release it since a label would have to pay money upfront to print a cd with registered music even if the artist got no upfront payment at all.

So for wannabe artists its earier to not be registered anywhere and just give their music away for free (no upfront payment,no royalties,no nothing) and hoping that one day someone might notice them. Thats how the scene got flooded with countless artists, labels and releases since even a kid can setup a label and release a cd for free without having to pay anything apart the cd print cost which is nothing.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

A bit of a broad generalization, but somewhat true.

nobody will pay for crap (sure a few demented souls out there) A lot of released material really is too immature even for a niche market product.           Mastering available here:

How many Psy Artists had their music in a movie? GMS in Man on Fire and Juno Reactor in a few more.
That's all guys, don't over sweat it.
Edit: yea I see Detox was faster than me (he was always an early finisher).           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

My biggest goal is to one day have my music played in supermarkets (talk about big audiences). Movies? pfffff On the other hand music for porn could be a bit of a professional milestone for me, but so far my networking efforts have been in vain           Mastering available here:

its not about wanting your stuff going mainstream, its about protecting your work from unlicensed use.

You know, workers have Unions, professionals have associations, engineers have patents, etc etc.

People tend to protect their work.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

...and just to open the mind is far not anouth to do that ))
so far - it feels like its an"oldway" to do things, and it should be changed or at least adjusted...its a whole menality that somebody can still stuff that you think you owe. How about friendly communications and contracts based on trust? I'm afraid not many are ready for that))

1.000.000$ double-question is :"should one register an underground recordlabel and should it be called commersial if money are involved?

If 'commercial' mean commercially available, ie record stores, and online retailers
And 'underground' mean available only from non-commercial sources, ie artist themselves, individuals selling for the artist etc,
Then seems to me for a commercially available release the label needs to be registered.
