I just bought this midi-keyboard, getting it to work with Flstudio 6 & Cubase SX 3 was a breeze. However, the main thing where i am getting stuck up is trying to configure the Transport Panel on the Oxygen v2 with the transport panel of Flstudio.

I did some searching around on the M-audio forum and found this xml file which could help me configure the transport panel in FLstudio, I tried to follow the readme instructions that came along with this file, the Transport panel gets configured but in the wrong manner and the project begins playing at a very slow bpm.

This is what the readme that came along with the FLstudio configuration file says.

"The "Oxygen 8v2 FL Studio" XML Bank has 1 Preset with Transport Controls mapped for FL Studio 6 (it may work for other versions, but it was created and tested w/ 6). The remaining presets were copied from the factory defaults.

In FL Studio, go to the OPtions Meny and select MIDI Options, select and "Enable" the Oxygen 8v2 for input, and set the "Controller Type" to be "Tascam US-428".

Now the Play button will toggle Play/Pause, Stop will stop and return to the beginning of the song, Record toggles record on and off, ReWind, and ReWind and Fast Forward only work while the buttons are held down. As soon as the button is released, it stops ReWinding or Fast Forwarding.

The Knobs are ready to use with FL Studio's "Link to COntroller" feature for mapping volume, pan, etc."

I would appreciate if anyone using Oxygen V2 have come across this issue and would love to know how they solved it.

What probably happened is that your controller is sending Cubase MIDI CC's to FL8. What are you pushing to begin playing the project in FL8?

I don't know anything about FL8 but what may be happening is that your play button is assigned to both the Play transport control and to the BPM control amount. When you assign a knob-type CC (like Cutoff or BPM) to a button-type controller, pushing the button will select the minimum value for the CC. When the project plays back, is it playing back at the minimum BPM the project can be set to? Or simply a slow tempo?

I just did a small bit of research. Try loading Default Preset 9 into the Oxy 8 using the Enigma software. After that, select a different preset using the Oxy 8 itself and switch right back over to Default Preset 9. That's what I had to do with my Axiom to get it to send the newly changed MIDI CC's to the DAW (Cubase in my case). I don't know why the Axiom acts that way, but it works for me now, lol.

Or you could just use Cubase. It's better anyway, lol.
