Help recording a sound....

Hey folks  You all know that crazy, instantly-fucking-annoying sound that happens when a cell phone is near a radio and gets a text/call? The static that is in pretty much the same pattern whenever it happens?
I want to use that noise in a track...kind of like how simon posford uses modem/internet connection noises in Miloonyum!
could also be really cheeky and put in a sample that says something like 'wtf! turn off your fuckin phones!'
How the hell would I go about doing this? Any ideas?

check this album from OSOM.... RAMANA .... one of the tracks... i think its the first from the album has this noisy sampled right at the begginin of the track...just cut it ... the noisy in this track s clean....
dload the mp3 or if u want teh full quality or not ilegal way i think in beatport they are selling this album track by track...so u can just buy the track...

but if u really want to record i dont know.. i would put a lot of cell phones near a weak HIFI sounds... or maybe a not so protected monitor and start to call from ur homephone to those cell phones till u get that noisy and do as ZORK said....record it haha

get a mic - record a voice sample
u can use audacity or edisson in fl studio to clean it up/edit
add some fx like phaser,reverb,chorus,sample strethcer,pitch bend etc to make it sound fat... along wid some delay(stereo or mono).
some white noise!!
done!
