Hey all,
recently got back to explrng stuff like Fear Factory, NIN, Ministry (not a huge fan) and also some lighter drum n bass and Prodigy stuff from my early days (amazing what you buy when your travelling) and have heard that Tool is a great band of a different style than the norm... now all the reviews I read always say how great they but never describe the music and where I am now won't let me listen before I buy, and before I spend a wad of cash I'd like to know if, going my my choices up the tope, I'd probably find something in the msuic or not...

Tools latest Lateralus is a progressive epic. Tightly produced with a nice spiritual vibe to it. Has a nice psychedelic edge too. Highly recommend that you pick it up. Their earlier Aenima is more darker and more rough, but also a masterpiece.
It's hard to explain their music, as they have an unique sound, and its best to check them out yourself. |
