Just started making trance not long ago and have a question:
Hwo do I put vst plugins and effects (like from cubase) into fruity loops?

You can either install the plug ins into Fruitys VST folder (if you are using 4.x its in the FLStudio -> Plugins ->VST folder), or if you are using other software like Cubase as well, you can tell Fruity to look for the specific folder you want (again in 4.x go to the settings -> file window and find the folder you want in the VST plugins extra search dicretory section towards the bottom). When you go to use them, you may have to push the refresh buttom on the "more" window to make them appear.

Thanks guys,
ill think ill stay with fruity, why does every body "hate" fruity loops? what so bad with it? What artists do use fruity loops? |

everybody does not "hate" FL studio, FL for me is great when it comes to creativity, but it just dosent cut it when i want to arrange or route stuff in the mixer and other things.. Thats me! and thats why i use Cubase, but i still use FL....
Bullshit is just something we have to live with: "this program is better than that" "you cant do this in that program"
and so on...
well those things might be true, that you cant do certain things with certain sequencers, softstudios, ect, ect..
but if you got imagination and a hard working attitude you will be able to do what you want in almost any sequencer, softstudio or whatever...
(first of all get to know the programs functions)
just dont limit your mind to the sequencer, you can do lots of things if you just figure out the ways 
ohh and about VST instruments.
If you want be organized you better create a Vst-Dx Pluggins folder,
this is how i got it set up:
D:\Audio\Vst-Dx Pluggins
D:\Audio\Vst-Dx Pluggins\Synths&Moduls
D:\Audio\Vst-Dx Pluggins\Effects&Tools
Of course in all these folders i got subfolders for the synth or FX´s name... so it´s not a mess of Dll files in one place!
this way you got all your VSTi´s and Dxi´s in one folder(and subfolders) so if you decide to uninstall something you still got your plugins in one place and every program you install you can set the pathway to that dir...
got it?
hope it helped, and by all means do go on creating with frutiy, you will notice if you need something else... but it never hurts to demo stuff and see what they are about
