go for it, just remember to gradually increase/decrease the bpm as the live progresses to give it a nice flow to it

zen mechanics for example make something between fulon to progressive.
if you want to be logicial so make progressive. the fullon is sinking. many artists who made fullon stoped doing it becasue all the festivals around the world don't play much fullon anymore. but music is not about logic. i make fullon also i know it's not such successful genre nowadays.

Make whatever you enjoy making, that's the only thing that should matter to you. The more unique, the better.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

That's a good thing, it expands your skills.

I've made a variety of music (fullon, prog, dark, chill, dnb, techno, experimental) so far. I just go with whatever I feel like making and have fun with it.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

I'm actually surprised by the amount of people who only make one style of music. If you really enjoy only making that style that's fine, but I think everyone should at least explore some other styles. You can apply psychedelic sounds to a lot of different genres of music and frankly it's good to get out of the kbbb mindset every once in a while imo.

Everyone I've suggested this to has found it to be good advice, so hopefully more people will pick up on this .          http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound
