help on cubase + nord "midi" pls

Ok...
It use to work b4.
I dont know after I reformat my computer i cant get it to work.
I have
M-Audio 2X2 Midi
I installed drivers everything
I connect to the Nord
Its taking the Midi signal.. because I play some notes in Cubase and it acknoledge them.. but i dont get any playback of the nord.
if i assign that midi channel to a vst i will hear the vst
someone know what im overlooking?
pls help thanks a lot

OK... nvm Audio Problem fixed...
but.. Why Its not playing midi?
I record the notes from the nord...
The notes are in Cubase I just cant hear the sounds from the nord as Midi... Come on..

U need the same midi channel in cubase as on ur nordlead .. for instance 1 |

Let me ask u... When u play the notes from the nord, can u hear the sounds from the synth?? Only when playing trought Cubase u can´t hear??
I think the last thing I can imagine is the "channel" u are choosing for the midi track. 1-4 represents A-D, if u know what I mean... So check if u are using the usable channel.
And be sure that u have the right config for the outputs...

I hear the audio signal in and out of cubase
i can record it as audio
so i want to record instead as midi
just the notes
and use the sequencer to playback those notes
So i can edit it them..
so it record the note from NOrd as Midi
but now the midi info is not being sent back to the nord somehow i need to figure that out
