Help me with my bass sound!!

I try to achieve a clean bass from my VIRUS A,but it's very difficult.This sampl is without any processing like eq,comp etc..I'm wondering how far everyone makes patches without processing. My bass patch is ready for processing or needs more synthesizing?
Please give me some advise,thanks.

this is a really nice patch man, when i heard it my imagination started working 
what i you need it to tweak the amp envelope so it will have more percussive sound.
try attack 0ms , decay 1-1.5sec , sustain 20-40% or -40 -60db , release about 25ms.
also tweak the filter envelope little more.
attack 0 , decay 15ms-20ms , sustain play with it. release 13-20ms.
once the bass sound has more punch then its ready for plugs. try eq at about 450hz q2.5oct -8 -10db. maybe try dynamic eq so it will have more pumping.
anyway this sound has alot of potential. dont let it go until its in a released track  good luck. |

If you want more comment then upload an mp3 instead of a zip file containing a 24bit wave file!
Anyway. Are you shure you send us an unprocced sound? It sounds VERY VERY multiband comp or maxxbass'ish to me. |

its just a virus PHAAAT sound. virus is one fat synth.

Yes,this is a 100% raw sound which comes out from VIRUS.
VIRUS A doesn't have "ANALOGUE BOOST" like VIRUS C,but I think it sounds phat enough.

I'll try it,Maybe my decay setting is a bit longer.
my setting:
amp env:a=0/d=57/s=0/r=15
filter env:a=0/d=40/s=0/r=0
by the way,I can't make a decent bass patch with nord rack 2.
somebody please show me some example setting for
full on bass sounds. |
