i would never say that krk are shit..
the bass can be easily adjusted if u find that it's too much(for that it's probably room acoustics fault)

maybe, but i've tried different models in different places and each time the result was the same: bass-soup , overwhelming the meds ...very bad result each time
something that would not happen with dynaudio
of course u can adjust freqs, but isn't it better to have more neutral monitors from the very beginning ?
adjusting freqs is meant to fit the monitors with the accoustic of the room, not to re-calibrate some defective gear in my opinion

hey,nobody compared them with dynaudios
it's just that the guy wants something in lower pricerange where the v8 are better than many.
if we could all have genelec or dynaudio then such threads wouldn't exist
and besides,if the monitor isn't crap at all you CAN have solid mixes even if it isn't dynaudio-u have to know your stuff, that's all!

How much is a Shekel in Dollars?
As far as soundcard is concerned I would go for Pro Tools 2 pro or Motu, depending on your needs and what software you use.
DO NOT BUY M_AUDIO !!!
bad drivers and imo not all that good a soundcard...
I would get good speakers first...

100% Agree! Very important point.
I know a guy how does topclass fullon production with an original internal laptop soundcard with shitty latency and his homestereo as speakers. He hasn't even a keyboard.. damm.. not even a mouse! he is using the mousepad of the laptop for all!

what the hell are you ppl talking about?
the guy dont have too much budget!.....he has only 1200$
as sub and diskOtek said.........who comparing dynaudio with krk?
if you just started with music creation.......krk and samson monitors are very good ..........tiesto for example used KRK monitors........for this range of prices krk and samson is the best choise!
as i said ........Cosma (Rip) made his amazing music without expensive hardware.......so its not realy matter......acoustic room and your ears its the most important factor!

proper monitors start at 5000 shekels, so don't get your hopes too high.

i did compare them to dynaudio because there are affordable dynaudio monitors wich i think are better and more precise than krk
for example, you can get the Bm5 (passive) for 500 euros the pair, with a samson servo amplifier (around 150 euros)
it's very good gear, and quite cheap for that quality.and the sound is very very close to the bma5 active ones.
someone here asked for advices so i'm giving out mines, wich i think is fair enough.
but of course if he doesn't want to spend more than 2-300 euros on the monitors, then i'm off topic and i'm sorry.i just think monitors are an essential element and one shouldn't be too greedy on that.in my opinion there is no need for such things as a remote 25 as someone proposed before, because it's very expensive stuff for a nice gadget u don't really need while u can get a cheap and basic midi controller, wich is well enough.
just my opinion , i have nothing to sell

Wow, I didn't think of that. Thats a really good proposition.
I'd suggest either do that or save more for the bm5a, but certainly don't go for anything cheaper.
