Help me to choose : Clavia NL3 or Modular!

Hi everyone,
Soon I'm going to buy a new keyboard. I'm already sure about the brand : it's going to be a Clavia.
I need your help to decide whether to buy a Clavia Nord Lead 3 or a Clavia Nord Modular G2X. So far I'd rather buy the NL3 because :
1) it is less expensive than the G2X
2) it is easier to use. I like the way the knobs are labelled, you don't have to assign anything. Everything is ready to use/tweak.
3) it has proven itself (from what I've read)
On the other side the modulars represent the new generation of Clavia Keyboards and seem to be much more polyvalent. You can build Synths on the PC/Mac just like with NI Reaktor. Plus you have an integrated Vokator on the G2X which expands the possiblities with one single synth.
I feel that the Modulars give you more possibilities but I'm wondering if it's worth the huge price difference (the G2X is 2625$ - the NL3 is 1800$!!).
Too bad I don't have the opportunity to test the keyboard because all music stores in my region don't focus on keyboards.
Your arguments?

instead of nl3 i would get nl2x ... just because it was made as the result of nl3.
but g2 should rock my socks much more.
Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...
