hey evry one wats up???
i'd really been busy today searching for my next soundcard.
i listened to very riching explaintions about serval soundcards.
with my budget limitions i've reach to this:
-Maya 4 Mk.II
-ESTI WaveTERMINAL 192 [L/X/M-?/?/?]
-E-MU 0404
PLEASE help me choose

i had the waveterminal 192 L and i was very happy though i would buy the m if u can...its more expensive but it has a box which makes it much easier(no need to crawl behing the pc every time to diss/connect and has more in's and out's.....

i have the 192L.. same opinion as djnomolos lolool no crawl needed, very nice! 
but well E-MU might be better choice, althought i'm not familiar with the card..
i know now, that i wouldnt have bought this soundcard if it was today..
and "any" soundcard will do to make sound...
unless u need midi, etc...
my opinion is get more $, buy a really decent soundcard.. so you won't regret it later hehe

Buy the X if you can. I have it and I'm very satisfied with it. I read a test on these cards and seemingly the L and M had some crosstalk issues whilst X didn't.  |

Phutekk....u are asking a totally diff' thing! we are talking about soundcards....u are asking about monitors! use the search in this forum for many many answers and opinions about your Q'
Shroomy and mo-dul i agree 100% if he has the money he should go for the X ofcourse!
but i think he said money is an issue...if it wasnt i would say buy a muto or RME etc.

the topic is "help me decide" so i thought i could ask it here...
and i think this topic could be used as "help me decide" -topic in everything in the future...
you could also use the search for soundcard topics 
but... can anybody help me decide?
m-audio bx8, tapco by mackie or tannoy reveal active...
