Hello!

I've been looking for an ambient composer for a long time now, but I couldn't found out who is this because I didn't know the artist's name or the title. I know it's really hard to find this way but I'm going to try to write down what I remember and If you have any idea, please write back, any idea can help!
Thank you!

So I got a cassette back in '97 early '98 from a friend and he told me it's Emmanuel Top, but it was the best ambient or new age record what I've heard, so it doesn't sounded like E.Top at all.

The 1st track was a slow number which sounded like Biosphere (Substrata), than the 2nd number started with a thunder, and it began to rain. The 2nd number was uptempo (but it didn't have bass) It was an outstanding track with a pulsating rhytmic synthetizer and it sounded like Spacetime Continuum synth sound on Kairo (from Emit Ecaps album), but it was a bit slower.
Than I remember a track with a thick bass which sounded like it was under the water.

Than on the 2nd side of the cassette it was the most wonderful slow song with a slow sad piano. It sounded like Harold Budd or more like Herb Ernst works if I have to compare. In the background you could hear children laughing, (some distorted conversation with deep sound).

You can see it contains different sounding tracks on the tape which is strange I think from an ambient artist.

On the background of the tracks there were happeings. At the beginning of the 2nd track was a thunder and rain, on the slow numbers there were howling wind, and the piano led track contained moving and childern laughing.

The sound quality was like Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, you know, it wasn't so good.

If you found out who could it be, please write back.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot Traveller for trying to help! It would be good if you can look thru your albums. I've tried a lot of ambient forums but it seems to me you're the 1st one who might know who could it be... thank you!

What is TIP? You mean TIP Records... they're making psytrance or goa (I'm a bit confused about styles).. or most of them if I'm right..

Anyway, I had a same situation, some of my albums stolen, include with this ambient (which I don't know).
Damn, I wish I know who did this...

yes what I'm saying is that just that the music I'm thinking of was in the same case, with all my older electronicn stuff including some original TIP cd's that are extremly hard to find... but oh just ignore it never mind...

Thanks for the tip, I found the Art Of Noise track called Opus for four, but unfortunately it's not what I'm looking for.

The 2nd (mid tempo) track from the album what I'm looking for was much like the synthetizer sound at the beginning of Spacetime Continuum's Kairo, but it was just a bit slower and it's sound was a bit deeper or thicker, but it was pulsating just like that...

And wasn't any harsh number on it, it was calm and relaxing...

But Thanks a lot!
