Hello peolpe. I have a question regarding bouncing the bass.
I work in Cuebase. And Im trying to make that plastic melodic bass. I been trying for 9 months now 12 hrs at day ( I dont even wach tv any more) any ways. Im having trouble with the bass every time it changes to a high not. I manage to take the bofffff sound away. with eq. but for example when I change from "c" to "f" when it hits the "F" is looses power and the sound becomes thiner.
I read the domestic post. really cool. And he saids to bounce every note so you eq each note separatly. So I tryed it.And then I got to my biggest problem, when I bounce my bass (mono) it sound totally diferent that when its played directly from de vst.It loses power and body some how. So I dont know what to do. Is there maybe a tip on how to bounce a bass.O maybe is my cheap Interface, I have the tipical us-144 tascam. So If someone of you guys know how I can improve in the production of my bass. pleasse dont be shy =)hehe
Thanks in advance and escuse my enlgish

usually what you hear is exactly what you should hear when you bounce - at 24bit/44khz of course.

I'm not sure why your sound is different bounced than when it's not bounced.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

I think you can make good bassline without bouncing it into sampler. offcourse it would sound thiner when the note is higher. think about it.....

you still could automate the eq
or have a few instances of the same eq inserted to the output channel ...
and just switch between them with bypass on/off.          http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject
