k second problem with cubase 5 lol
whenever i open a midi square... all the other tracks go mute and only the open midi windows plays....
how to change this?

I know it's more easy to ask here, but you really should look in to the cubase manual before asking this kind og basic questions... people will get annoyed at some point...
There is a solo (s) button in the upper left corner of the midi editor - push it! or type S on your keyboard....

you should buy "ask video tutorial for cubase 5, it is very helpfull, you will learn all the basic tools and some advance tools in it,there is currently 4 parts of it,i suggest you get them all.
