Hey man.. FirstTrack? Well done! ...unfortunatley I am at work with shitty headphones so I cant comment on the 'production' side of things (and production is 50% of the process at least)... but some thoughts as I listened to ur track are:-
*Automate..!! Sweep some filters on your percussion and riffs/lines.. this makes 16 bars of the same loop sound more dynamic & interesting.
* Sometimes less is more.! There are some good squirty sounds and nice percussive bits...but u dont have to throw everything in in the first 32 bars and then let it play out for 5 mins..!! Try writing 2 or 3 '32 bar' sections (like a beginning, middle & end).. and then link them up.. this gives the track a feeling of progression , development and movement...as well as continuity.!
BOOM

OK, well, for a first track this one is very good. Use compressors to keep elements from reaching high volumes in certain cutoff settings.
Listen to the squid, he knows what he's saying. Those are very good tips when you're beginning. A good track always has a surprise or two (or more) left for the listener.
Great job for a first track.
